Twenty of the country’s top comedians will compete for the top spot in the Great American Comedy Festival. Many of the comedians have appeared on Comedy Central, Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show. Along with prize money, the winner will receive an award designed just for the Great American Comedy Festival.
The comedians are invited to participate by Eddie Brill, talent coordinator for the Late Show with David Letterman. Brill and Lora Young, Great American Comedy Festival executive director, will choose the comedians during auditions held around the country.
