Two Advance from West Point Amateur Show

The first of three preliminary amateur stand-up comedy competitions took place Saturday night in front of about 175 people at the West Point Community Theater.

Stephanie McHugh of Denver was the host for the night, entertaining along with 11 comedians hoping to advance to the finals of the 2013 Viaero Great American Comedy Festival’s amateur competition on Wednesday, June 12.

Audience members selected James Ervin Berry of Milwaukee and Chris Tyler of Denver as their favorite comedians to advance to the finals.
